I get a "Device Limit Reached" error. What should I do?

Each GHL Vibe Sync license can be active on one browser/workstation at a time. This protects your license from unauthorized sharing. If you still have access to the previous browser: open GHL Vibe Sync, go to Settings & Feedback, and use Reset Device ID to disconnect that device. If you no longer have access to the previous device: use the reset page below with your purchase email and license key.

Question 2

My license says expired or invalid, but my subscription is active.

Accepted Answer

This can happen if the license status has not updated yet or if the extension is still using an old local activation state. Close and reopen the extension popup, refresh your GoHighLevel tab, or click the refresh button in the licensing section.

Question 3

Why does the browser ask me to reconnect my local folder?

This is a browser security rule. Extensions cannot keep permanent silent access to your local hard drive. When needed, click Reconnect Folder to give GHL Vibe Sync permission to read or write only the folder you select.

Question 4

My files are not pushing to GoHighLevel. What should I check?

Accepted Answer

Make sure the GoHighLevel Vibe Coder is open and fully loaded. Check that you are inside the Vibe Code view, your session is active, the file tree is visible, and you are importing text/code files.

What happens if I close the popup during an export or import?

ZIP export from the popup can continue in the background. For import or push operations, GHL Vibe Sync creates a persistent job inside the active GoHighLevel/Vibe editor tab.

Will GHL Vibe Sync delete my files?

Accepted Answer

GHL Vibe Sync does not delete local files unless you explicitly run a local Pull action that includes selected deletions. For remote deletions on GoHighLevel, the extension uses confirmation steps before removing files.

Question 7

Does GHL Vibe Sync store my source code on its own servers?

Accepted Answer

No. Your project files are processed inside your browser and sent directly in the context of your active GoHighLevel/Vibe session. GHL Vibe Sync does not upload your project source code to a separate proprietary code database.

Does GHL Vibe Sync store my GoHighLevel login credentials?

Accepted Answer

No. The extension does not ask for or store your GoHighLevel password. It works inside your active browser session.

Can I import any type of project or code into GoHighLevel Vibe?

No. GoHighLevel Vibe projects have specific technical limitations and architectural specifications that must be respected for the site to function correctly. You cannot simply import arbitrary projects or modifications. All code must adhere to AI Studio's specifications and guidelines to ensure compatibility and stability.
